About Me

I’m Mike Turner, I’m a freelance sports photographer specialising in, but not limited to, men’s and women’s football and cricket. I’m a member of the Sports Journalist’s Association, and an AIPS Press Card Holder.

England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and (Football) DataCo accredited, my experience spans grassroots to international cricket, and from Sunday league to professional football, including youth fixtures and international tournaments.

My aim is always to capture the energy, character, and emotion of each moment. Both action and reaction, whether it’s the theatre of a Test Match, heat of a One Day International, or the joy of a kickabout in the park.
